Code of Conduct & Guidelines
Our code of conduct forms the basis for respectful, fair, and responsible cooperation and sets binding standards for our daily actions within the company and towards business partners.
Sustainability
Sustainability is firmly anchored in our corporate strategy. With efficient and resource-saving engineering and automation solutions, we assume ecological, social, and economic responsibility—for our customers, our employees, and future generations.
We are guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The following are particularly relevant to our business activities:
SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic growth
The human factor is at the heart of our mission statement. We design facilities and workplaces in such a way as to reduce physical strain and create ergonomic, safe working conditions. A code of conduct, ethical guidelines, and guidelines on working conditions, human rights, and environmental protection, as well as an established complaints mechanism and a confidential whistleblower system, form the framework for responsible and fair growth.
SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
As automation experts, we develop innovative plant concepts, automated manufacturing solutions, and digital factories. In this way, we support our customers in establishing sustainable, resilient, and networked production infrastructures—from the concept phase through simulation and virtual commissioning to the turnkey plant.
SDG 10 – Reduced inequalities
We are committed to fair opportunities, non-discrimination, and inclusion—regardless of gender, origin, religion, age, or other personal characteristics. Our policy on human rights and working conditions and our code of conduct form the binding framework for this. Through our supplier code of conduct, we also apply these principles to our value chain and expect our partners to adhere to the same standards in terms of equal treatment, diversity, and the protection of minorities.
SDG 17 – Partnerships for the goals
Sustainable solutions are developed as a team: we work closely with customers, technology partners, universities, and research institutions. In interdisciplinary projects, we combine practical experience, digitalization, and science—thus laying the foundation for measurable progress toward global sustainability goals.
With our “beyond efficiency” engineering, we support companies in making their production future-proof, resource-efficient, and competitive – thereby making a concrete contribution to the implementation of the UN sustainability goals.
